In Part 1 of Don’t Say the A-Word, I analyze Juno the popular, Oscar-winning film Juno (2006). I discuss how this film, through a veneer of hip characters and slick dialog, subtly pushes the viewer toward rejecting abortion as a choice in dealing with an unwanted pregnancy.
In Don’t Say the A Word, Part II I discuss two episodes of the popular Showtime streaming series, Shameless. It too tackles the abortion narrative, but more subtly.
